That’s it - that’s the update! And what a long, winding road it’s been.
THE DUSK IS GOING TO PRINT.
I’ve looked over the proofs and approved them. THE DUSK is done and, well, not dusted - but done! Our amazing printer is putting things together as we speak. Once we have a definite timeline on WHEN the books will be shipped, I’ll send another update - probably with pictures!
Speaking of, here’s a look at those DUSK proofs as kind of, well, proof of life!
More soon, and thanks again for your patience! We’re almost there!

Dear Blackstone Citizens -
I hope you're doing as well as can be. Consider this an early check in. Did you get your surveys? Did you fill them out? Please do that ASAP so we can make sure we're printing the right amount of the books and you're getting what you ordered!
But that's not the main reason for this missive. No, we have something cool to share: THE ACTUAL BOOK.
Yes, we're sending out the digital version of THE DUSK V1 for you now, as a thank you for your patience and as proof that this crazy journey was real, and everything does indeed exist. Plus, what better way to pass the time waiting for your print copies to arrive than by having the actual comic to read?
So, here it is! A digital copy of the first volume of THE DUSK! I hope you enjoy it.

The time has come! Surveys are going out to you this week! Please look them over and get them back to us ASAP so we can make sure you're all getting what you ordered!
We're all done with the book, obviously, and our star designer Phil has completed the look of it all. Now we're sending the files off to the printer and should have a firmer timeline on when you'll be getting books in your hands. We'll let you know once we have those details.
Once again, I'd like to thank you for your understanding and patience with this campaign. It certainly took longer than we expected, but we hope the final result was worth it. Liz, David, Ellie, Taylor, Joseph, and I poured ourselves into this book, and we hope it shows. This book is very special to us and we hope it becomes special to you, too.

Dear Blackstone Citizens,
First off, thanks again for your patience. Not a lot to report on this front, but the good news is we're looking over the final-ish proofs this week and should have the files off to the printer soon after that. Then we'll send out surveys and make sure everything arrives as it should.
It's certainly been a journey, and I couldn't ask for a better crew of backers to support us as we dealt with some unexpected detours on the way. On the bright side, we're immensely proud of the book we've put together - Liz, David, Ellie, Taylor and Joseph have brought their A-game, and I can't wait to start seeing pictures of people holding this book in their hands.
Once it's out to y'all, we'll also have some cool news to share about the future of The Dusk, too.

Hello, Blackstone Citizens! HAPPY NEW YEAR!
Okay, I won’t keep you long - just some quick logistical updates:
THE DUSK is done. The work is done. The book exists. Yay!
Our intrepid designer, Phil, is putting the finishing touches on it and we (Liz, myself, Joe, and David) are working on some extra material to really make the book sing. More on that soon.
Then it’s off to the printer! Wow. What a journey, huh? I’m excited for y’all to have this book in your hands, and I’m also excited to have some more Dusk-related news for you in the coming months, too.
But, again, for the millionth time - thank you for your patience. I know it's been a wild ride, but we did our best to ensure you got the strongest work from all of us. I think it shows. Hope you agree!
I also hope you had a peaceful and pleasant break - once we get proofs and copies in, I’ll post some photos! More soon.
