Hello, Blackstone Citizens!
Alex Segura here with your monthly Dusk update! Dusk-date? You get what I mean.
Again, MUCHO thanks for your patience. Here's the monthly status report:
David is closing in on finishing line art for Chapter 3, meaning we've got about 20 pages to go. He's cranking at about three pages a week, so we're making really good time.
Ellie's just finished colors for half the book, and is working at her usual clip.
As noted, the story is done, and Liz and I just sent the lettering script for Chapter 2 to our intrepid Creative Consultant/Editor, Joseph Illidge.
So, it's looking like we'll be ready to rock in the summer - and then you can get your hands on this beautiful book! Thank you again for your patience.
Any questions, do let us know. In the meantime, enjoy some colored pages to get a taste for what the book is gonna look like in a few short months!
Love David's take on one of the baddies - the villain known as DUST-MITE! You heard right, folks.
Stay well!

Hey Blackstone denizens! Happy April! Wow, how is it April?
First off, THANK YOU, for your patience and understanding as we pour ourselves into this little opus known as THE DUSK. Here’s the stats of where we are - the book is written in terms of story, and we’re more than three-fourths of the way into the art. So, safe to say, we’re in the home stretch. Once David’s done with the line art, we’ll jam on getting everything else buttoned up. Fingers crossed supply chain and shipping issues don’t factor in too heavily, but we’ll keep everyone posted once we get there.
We appreciate everyone understanding that great work takes time - and David Hahn is definitely doing some of his best work EVER. Once this bad boy is done, it’ll hopefully live a nice long life on your shelf.
Need proof? Check out these pages!
Until next time!

Hey Blackstone Citizens! I hope you’re doing well! Thanks for your patience as we make sure THE DUSK is just right.
David is more than halfway done with the art, making inroads on chapter 3 of 4, and chugging along. Once he’s done, the rest will move fast. We’re shooting to finish up by next month or the following, fingers crossed.
Here’s some new art to keep you excited!

Hi Blackstone Denizens! Happy New Year!
A quick update!
David has drawn over half the book. We’re making great progress!
The first fourth (or, as I like to call it - THE DUSK #1!) of the OGN is finalized, and we’re starting to see colors from Ellie come in on chapter 2. Liz and I are hard at work scripting that installment, too.
After an understandable lull over the holidays, David is really cranking on interiors, so we’re looking at early April to have this book in your hands, supply chain, paper, and other issues we can’t control notwithstanding.
I’ll continue to update you guys every month or so. Thanks for your support! We can’t wait to get this book to you.
In the meantime, here’s a lettered/final TEN-PAGE preview from THE DUSK chapter 1 for you to enjoy! That's half of the first issue! All the best,
Alex, Liz, David, Joseph, Ellie, Taylor and the entire Dusk team

Hello, Blackstone residents!
Wow, time is really flying huh? I can't believe it's already November. I wanted to touch base to keep everyone posted on the progress we're making on THE DUSK, including some lovely color pages by our amazing colorist, Ellie Wright!
Big picture-wise, we're about a fourth of the way into the book, with David well into #2 of our four-issues worth of content. Liz and I are polishing off the script for the first installment and we're making good time overall. That's the boring stuff. But just know we're putting our best efforts into getting you the best book possible, as quickly as possible. We appreciate your patience and we're certain the final product will be worth the wait!
But in the meantime, here are some of those lovely color pages - linework by the esteemed David Hahn and colors by the aforementioned Ellie Wright!
I'll be back in a month or so with another update, and we'll do our best to keep everyone in the loop as we keep putting this book together for our pals at Ominous Press.
